Last niteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.......
The hippie, his girl and I took upon Resurrection for their Halloween party and it was a blast! Place was packed, full of friends and acquaintances and we danced all night. Drinky drinks galore and the band that was playing was kinda awful but we were making so much fun of them it was unreal. The DJ was spinning some solid stuff, kept us dancing until the wee hours in the morning. I put on my Anarchy High cheerleader outfit again and the hippie's girlfriend was a kittycat. A couple of exes were there, Vero was there and we all had a riot. It was beautiful. Came home, it was raining a bit so the rain and the alcohol and me being tired because of all the dancing made for a fast transition to sleep. Woke up, no hangover whatsoever. It's a beautiful day outside so let's make the best of it.

also http://www.frecuenciasalternas.com is officially open. so visit or else.

Happy Halloween and tomorrow starts National Novel Writing Month...........

mi cuerpo alcoholizado
mis oidos y mi mente
siguen el eco de las canciones
que baile como nunca

entre el vino y el baile
sonrio mientras bailo
liberando la pena
que produce tu ausencia
pero no detendre mi vida
por causa de esta
la vida continua
y el tren no se detiene
el que se queda se lo pierde
y no hay marcha atras
al llegar a mi cama
extran~o tu cuerpo
tu calor tu ritmo
pero a falta de ti, licor

THE LIBERTINES LYRICS - Last Post On The Bugle: "Last Post On The Bugle

If I have to go
I will be thinking of your love
Oh somehow you'll know
You will know
Thinking of your love
Sadly they whispered away
As I played the last post on the bugle
I heard them say
Oh that boy's no different today
Except in every single way

If I have to go
I will be thinking of your love
Oh somehow you'll know
You just know
Thinking of your love

Oh, I was carried away
Caught up in an affray
They let him away, he sang
We'll meet again some day
And oh my boy, there's a price to pay

If I have to go
I will be thinking of your love
Oh somehow you'll know
I don't know how much longer
I'll be thinking of your love

Inside I felt
So, so alone
Locked in a room
Waiting til kingdom come
Although I felt elated
I felt like I was scum

I was carried away
Caught up in an affray
They let him away, he sang
We'll meet again some day
Oh my boy, there's a price to pay

Feels like I've never been away
Though it's been longer than I could possibly say
I've been wandering the market
Carrying a sign, saying the end of...

The world is nigh
I'm glad to see we're still tight
The bonds that tie a man are tight
Yet we do what we do
With ritual hability
All through the night"

John Peel is dead and though I've never met the man personally, I own several of his sessions (yeah, those Strange Fruit CD's and LP's back in the day), I listened to some of his broadcasts and when I went to the UK, I did the pilgrimage to BBC HQ to see his work environmnet. He was one of the reasons I got into radio and one of my inspirations to get into Rock Internacional and unknowingly his eclectic and broad musical tastes and excellent choices in music inspired me to create Frecuencias Alternas.

There are very few DJ's and stations who are willing to take the risks he did in his choices of music to share with the world. Too many saps wasting wavelength and time broadcasting music that offers nothing to no one. His death yesterday makes me mad because while the Ashlee Simpsons of the world are lip synching their way to whoredom, many true talents are ignored because they don't fit whatever the majors want you to hear. He discovered and showcased lots of talent that otherwise wouldn't be heard. That takes guts, commitment and a genuine love of music.

In my own small part I wanted to write this to honor someone whose body of work on behalf of the struggling artists was not in vain. Rest in peace, Mr. Peel. If there's a heaven above, you belong there.

Love, honor and respect,

FOr some reason I was feeling the blues this afternoon. Maybe it's because I was spending time with family. Dunno. Helped Val with some of his homework. Slept. Kinda felt blue and J. was taking care of her business. All blues dissipated once J. came over to watch Taxi with me. She's a laugh. Then watching the Lemmiwinks South Park episode and it's so freaking funny and wrong. Then, that Bowflex ad with the "50 year old grandma" who's quite a MILF, but hey.....anyway it's great to spend time with the hottie. My brother and his family are leaving early tomorrow morning and the newest Wire episode should be coming up soon.

Yesterday I went to the christening of my nephews and my niece. Mostly everyone knows my stance on religion and whatnot, but since they are not my kids, it doesn't bother me that much. What bothers me is that 1. the godfather and godmother arrived a little late. 2. of all people that were there, I was the one who knew all the theological theory surrounding catholic baptism 3. i realized how much i don't like family gatherings. Yes, this brings out the anti-social in me, but I can't help me. The statement that says you can choose your friends but you can't choose your family rang so true yesterday.

Not all of it was gloom and doom. I went to see J. perform yesterday after dealing with family matters and it was really entertaining. It's a whole different scene and all, which makes it kinda cool. Basically J's gigs usually happen in these places that are quite different once the night falls. By day one could be, a bookies (sorry Brit slang but I can't seem to find the correct translation for it) dealing with horses and at night it transforms into a bar or dance hall. Obviously the demographic is older but there's no bullshit involved. People go, get dressed, drink and dance merengue, salsa, bachata and boleros. Last night's place was very cool in it's own place. Second floor of a business. Bar, some tables on the side, a tiny stage and plenty of room to dance. Dark. The way I like it. J.'s singing voice is top as usual, despite the technical problems.

Speaking of which, J. finally taught me how to dance bachata and it was very funny! Its easy too, but watching couple dance it was a sport by itself. J. did the gig and afterwards we were gonna hit El Cojo but the regulars didnt feel like it so off we went for a spot of our own. She's so gorgeous and so freaking sensual it's unreal. I am very glad she's around. We're supposed to watch a movie tonight, but let's see how it turns out.

Record Labels Said to Be Next on Spitzer List for Scrutiny

Eliot Spitzer, the New York State attorney general, has recently taken on a procession of corporate powers from Wall Street analysts to mutual funds to insurance brokers. Now he is casting his eyes on the music industry, particularly its practices for influencing what songs are heard on the public airwaves.

According to several people involved, investigators in Mr. Spitzer's office have served subpoenas on the four major record corporations - the Universal Music Group, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, the EMI Group and the Warner Music Group - seeking copies of contracts, billing records and other information detailing their ties to independent middlemen who pitch new songs to radio programmers in New York State.

The inquiry encompasses all the major radio formats and is not aiming at any individual record promoter, these people said. Mr. Spitzer and representatives for the record companies declined to comment.

The major record labels have paid middlemen for decades, though the practice has long been derided as a way to skirt a federal statute - known as the payola law - outlawing bribes to radio broadcasters.

Broadcasters are prohibited from taking cash or anything of value in exchange for playing a specific song, unless they disclose the transaction to listeners. But in a practice that is common in the industry, independent promoters pay radio stations annual fees - often exceeding $100,000 - not, they say, to play specific songs, but to obtain advance copies of the stations' playlists. The promoters then bill record labels for each new song that is played; the total tab costs the record industry tens of millions of dollars each year.

The new scrutiny comes at an inconvenient time for the major record companies, which have been pressing federal and state law enforcement officials to shut pirate CD manufacturers and the unimpeded flow of copyrighted music online.

The statute involved is a federal one and the case would not seem to fit neatly into Mr. Spitzer's jurisdiction, but state attorneys general typically have wide latitude to investigate issues involving consumers and businesses in their states.

In this instance, Mr. Spitzer might proceed on the ground that broadcasters' dealings with middlemen severely limit the opportunities available to those artists who cannot afford to hire them.

These promoters flourished throughout the 1980's and most of the 1990's, but their influence began to weaken after Congress deregulated the radio industry in 1996, allowing for an extensive consolidation that tilted the balance of power to a handful of newly created broadcasting mammoths.

With their newfound power, some big chains, including Clear Channel Communications, at first tried to tap a bigger share of the labels' promotional dollars, and designated specific independent promoters to be the exclusive representatives for particular stations.

Promotion prices continued to rise, but at the same time the consultants had less influence over airplay, record executives say.

In 2002, the industry's lobbying organization, the Recording Industry Association of America, called on the government to strengthen anti-payola laws and examine questionable practices, including independent promotion. (Association officials are considering whether to provide new comments and information to the Federal Communications Commission as part of that agency's review of radio promotion, people in the music industry have said.)

Cox Radio, and later Clear Channel, said they would not renew their contracts with any promoters.

Since the big companies severed their ties to the practice, record labels - suffering from piracy and other financial woes - have sharply scaled back payments to the middlemen, and by some estimates pay them as little as $30 million annually.

One promoter, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Mr. Spitzer's investigators "are not going to find anything; they're 20 years too late."

But questionable practices persist in a variety of markets and music formats.

In the late 1990's, the Justice Department began a broad investigation of payola that eventually encompassed dozens of Latin and urban- music radio stations across the nation. It won convictions against two top executives at Fonovisa, the biggest independent record label in the Spanish-language market, and a top radio executive. No cases have been brought in the urban-music category. Unlike the promoters in the rock and pop fields who receive payments as stations add a song to their playlist, many urban-music consultants receive initial lump sums to finance the marketing of a new single, and distribute the money as they see fit.

morrissey - the world is full of crashing bores - lyrics

The World Is Full Of Crashing Bores
You must be wondering how
The boy next door turned out
Have a care, But don't stare
Because he's still there

Lamenting policewomen policemen
Silly women, taxmen, Uniformed whores
They who wish to hurt you
Work within the law

This world is full, So full of crashing bores And I must be one
‘Cos no one ever turns to me to say
Take me in your arms
Take me in your arms, And love me

You must be wondering how
The boy next door turned out
Have a care, And say a prayer
Because he's still there

Lamenting policewomen policemen
Silly women, taxmen, Uniformed whores Educated criminals, Work within the law

This world is full, Oh oh, So full of crashing bores, And I must be one
'Cos no one ever turns to me to say
Take me in your arms
Take me in your arms, And love me
And love me

What really lies
Beyond the constraints of my mind
Could it be the sea
With fate mooning back at me

No it's just more lock jawed pop stars Thicker than pig shit
Nothing to convey
They’re so scared to show intelligence
It might smear their lovely career

This world, I am afraid
Is designed for crashing bores
I am not one, I am not one
You don't understand
You don't understand
And yet you can
Take me in your arms and love me
Love me, And love me

Take me in your arms and love me, Love me, love me, Take me in your arms and love me, Take me in your arms and love me
Would you do, Would you do, What you should do, Oh oh oh, Oh oh

Introduced J. to the joys of engrish and the onion with good results. She's fun to have around.

I also noticed the tendency of normally uptight women to get lose with a few drops of alcohol. That's pretty normal, but watching them trying to hit on you because they feel lonely and/or horny that's something very fucking amusing. Especially when you're not interested at all in them.

"On returning, I can't believe this world is still turning, The pressure's on, Because the pleasure hasn't gone
And I'm, Not sorry for, For the things I've done
And I'm, Not looking for, Just anyone

On competing, Oh, when will this tired heart stop beating?, It's all a game, Existence is only a game
And I'm, Not sorry for, For the things I've done
And I'm, Not looking for, Just anyone

I'm, Slipping below the water line, I'm, Slipping below the water line
Reach for my hand, And, And the race is won
Reject my hand, And, The damage is done

I'm, Slipping below the water line
I'm, Slipping below the water line

The woman of my dreams, She, She never came along
The woman of my dreams, Well, There never was one

And I'm, Not sorry for, For the things I've said
There's a wild man in my head, There's a wild man In my head"

Eat what you are while you're falling apart
And it opened a can of worms
The gun's in my hand and I know it looks bad
But believe me I'm innocent
I'm fearful I'm fearful I'm fearful of flying
And flying is fearful of me
I covered my eyes when she told me the news
Turning me on with my lightsabre cocksucking blues

And I'm aching from fucking too much
I know what I do but it all points to you

Violent Femmes - Good Feeling lyrics

Good feeling
won't you stay with me just a little longer
it always seems like your leaving
when I need you here just a little longer
dear lady there's so many things
that I have come to fear
little voice says I'm going crazy
to see all my worlds disappear
vague sketch of a fantasy
laughing at the sunrise
like he's been up all night
ooo slippin and slidin
what a good time but now
have have to find a bed
that can take this wait
good feeing
won't you say stay with me just a little longer
it always seems like your leaving
when I know the other one
just a little too well
oh dear lady
won't you stay with me just a little longer
y'know it always seems like your leaving
when I need you here just a little longer

El ágil Mono

Voluble, inquieto, cínico, sabio, divertido, infiel, encantador, amoral.

Cazadores, orgullosos, vanidosos, osados, tozudos, enérgicos, aventureros, valientes.

Yesterday I wanted to give J. a surprise. So I went to her workplace, called her and once she came out to the hallway, gave her a huge hug. It was nice to see her. She looked gorgeous. I didn't want to give her trouble at work so I left but it was a good feeling all over.

Worked until 8 something then hit Carmelo's apartment to water his plant, then headed for dinner and planning session with Diana, Eze, Popu and Alf.

Came home past midnight a bit zombiefied but happy. We cranked Talking Heads and Modest Mouse on the way home. It was joyful.

The Hottie had her gig and let's just say it was a weird evening. Anyway, that's her tale to tell if she wants.

Didn't sleep much so I kept downloading some material for tonight's show. Surgeon, Regis and their Britsh Murder Boys project. Going to hit them real hard tonight.

Looking forward to see J. tonight.

Anyway, I should get some sleep. Gotta get my brother's resume together.

The Gun Club - SEX BEAT

Johnny's got a light on his eyes and Shirley's got a light on her lips
Jakes got a monkeyshine on his head and Debra Ann's got a tiger in her hips
they can twist and turn they can move and burn
they can throw themselves against the wall
but they creep for what they need
and they explode to the call and then they move
Sex beat, go

very stupid like I told ya, very stupid like ya saw
very stupid as the simple thought of ever thinking at all
and all the mind, all the soul all the body
all we know all the things that should have made us whole
all the colourless security was only so we could go and move, move
Sex beat, drop

and yes you do look cool and by the floodlights so blue
you make my tropical apartment bed, your sacrificial pool
my body in the water and my heart is in your hand
so this is the way you choose to send me to the judgement land
so you can't move, move oohh..sex beat, go

and every day at three you throw me down by the christmas tree
I watched your lights blink on and off while you start your fun with me
I, I know your reasons and I, I know your goals
we can fuck forever but you will never get my soul
so you can move
so you can move
so you can move
so you can move so you can
oohh... Sex beat

Besides cranking The Psychedelic Furs' "All That Money Wants" in my head (2nd best breakup song. Bauhaus' "Crowds" is my all time fave, but like The Smiths used to sing "you just haven't earned it yet, baby") and getting my job's webpage together, not much to do.

Talked to a few friends. I heard supportive noises, I heard good news from one of my friends in his quest to be an uber producer and I'm glad for you, but honestly, today I'm not here, you know what I mean? I'm going thru the motions, going about my day and probably hit Candela Art and Music Festival tonight and do my best to get drunk and let it all out.

I mean, technically it's no biggie since we haven't gone out for that much and in that aspect I'm ok. It's just the bullshit of it all and the fact that I get a brief respite from being lonely and all and actually had a good time and then it all comes crashing down due to no fault of my own. Well, I look at it at another perspective that I ran into this early on, so no damage is done. I can handle that. Funny thing is, that this is so cliche'd that I'm betting she'll be back on her feet with another guy in no time. I guess that's the good thing of having good looks.

I want to talk to las nenas. All this thing got me in a very awkward position and at least for now I don't want to deal with people unless I absolutely have to. I don't want to inflict my troubles and my attitude on the band, so I'm seriously considering to quit. I know this is hard, but right now I've had enough of people and I'd rather be by myself for awhile. As much as I love las nenas, I cannot be an asset to the band like this. I hope that they will understand.

All in all, it was fun while it lasted y tranquilo porque mas abajo hay gente. Then again, I'm a very picky person so.......

De nuevo me arropa el silencio
vuelvo a caminar en el vacio
y hasta el sol siente el frio
que hasta mis huesos embriaga

otra abolladura
a la armadura
otra cicatriz
rasga mis alas
otro dia
otra man~ana
donde el vacio
despierta en mi cama

ya me acostumbro
a las frases
a las excusas
a los cliches
tan constantes
tan huecos
y en todos ellos
estoy libre de culpa

si eres tan fuerte
para tantas otras cosas
porque no puedes ser fuerte
cuando tienes algo bueno
cuando tienes algo genuino
cuando tienes algo intenso
cuando tienes algo que

Everything's peachy
Everything's alright
It's been nothing but a smooth ride
laughs and joy
Then out of nowhere
It comes
Hits me over the head
And I am left wondering
What The Fuck?
What did I do wrong?
What have I done to deserve this?
Do me one small favor
Believe In Yourself
As I believe in you
If things are so good
why question it?
Enjoy it
Ignore things
that don't make sense
that hinder your progress

I need to talk this face to face
right now I can't even believe this is happening.
I certainly don't deserve this
and I certainly don't want to pay for other people's mistakes.
I believe this can work
but it takes both of us to get with the program

I need to talk it over. See what's up. Meanwhile, breathe in and out. Get some rest.

I learned long ago to appreciate what I have instead of craving and coveting what I don't have. Today I have:

- a job I like
- clothes on my back
- a roof over my head (not my own, but that should change)
- food in my belly
- great friends
- i like/tolerate most of my inmediate family
- someone to share the good, the bad and the ugly

and I'm very grateful for all of this.

I'm missing La Experiencia's release party tonight. Quality time, I'm afraid. Got some games for Val and got some movies to watch. Tomorrow is off so it's time to enjoy whatever time I can get. I need to get that other job to get my own place. It's a priority.

Thank you Sara for ze link. Below are the following gems that are found here:

2. Niemmyijl - a handy name in case I need to create an RPG character real fast

3. A brand new prescription drug - NAME: Tamisal
CHEMICAL: Ppaefbiwuose
SIDE EFFECTS: drooling, uncontrolable cough, bleeding from orifaces, constant fluatulance, sensitivity to taste,

People with back pain should not take Tamisal

Side effects affect only 10% of users compared to sugar pill.

4. An odd insult - smelly ship wiper

5. In case I make it to royalty - The General, His Supreme Puissance, Marquis Jose E. Roman. The Devout Subduer of Puerto Rico.

6. A quick heavy metal song - idiot's can punish us with their truth's because we are idiot's.
You will pay for help, fool.
I will punish you with my religion.
I will crush you with my truth.
I will destroy you with my truth.
plead for the idiots, idiot.

Just came from watching J. perform at a nearby bar. She's got the voice, she's got the moves and she gets the crowd moving and dancing. Musically we come from different worlds, but she's a good entertainer and that's what matters. She gets the job done and more. I enjoyed it as well.

Another lost weekend. The kind you get lost with someone, get the most out of it and enjoy. I won't see her until the weekend, so at least we can keep in touch via our phones. I already miss her. Anyway, tough week ahead. Chin up.

The rehearsal with las nenas was cancelled. Ze drummer was somewhere on the west coast and unreachable. So we headed to the radio show had a freaking riot there. I mean that first hour was something else. Then DJed my set at Resurrection. Some people got it. Some people didn't get it and that's their problem. I think my set represented more of what that night was supposed to be. Cool thing is that I got the crowd moving. J. had her gig and we met at El Cojo for jokes, drinkydrinks and general mayhem with the usual suspects. Spent some quality time with her and came back home sometime in the afternoon. Enough to take a quick little nap and J.'s got a gig at 7 pm and I promised I'd be there. So I better get ready.

J had her first gig last night. I was at the station working, then I hit home. Had some fun with my bro, my mother's godson and his wife. Then I collapsed in the living room. Mom woke me upa and after some breakfast took some picture of my brother's kids while Valery was busy with the playstation. J. called and we basically talked a bit to alleviate her boredom at work. I should get my shit together for tonight's gig. Man, I'm so sleepy...........a nap is in order. There is talk of a possible writing gig. I won't give any details so no jinxing. Hopefully it should work out.

Moi et J at El Cojo 10/02/04. I think this picture speaks for itself Posted by Hello

J. showed up at the station and instead of hitting Godfader's release party we had a good dinner and a funny conversation. She's gonna be busy this weekend so we better get all the quality time we can cram. My brother and his family arrived today and it's great to see them. My sister of course ruined it for them in her typical fashion, but that's expected of her. I can't wait to get my own place to get out of here.

One way or another I'm gonna find ya
I'm gonna getcha getcha getcha getcha
One way or another I'm gonna win ya
I'm gonna getcha getcha getcha getcha
One way or another I'm gonna see ya
I'm gonna meetcha meetcha meetcha meetcha
One day, maybe next week
I'm gonna meetcha, I'm gonna meetcha, I'll meetcha
I will drive past your house
And if the lights are all down
I'll see who's around

One way or another I'm gonna find ya
I'm gonna getcha getcha getcha getcha
One way or another I'm gonna win ya
I'll getcha, I'll getcha
One way or another I'm gonna see ya
I'm gonna meetcha meetcha meetcha meetcha
One day, maybe next week
I'm gonna meetcha, I'll meetcha

And if the lights are all out
I'll follow your bus downtown
See who's hanging out

One way or another I'm gonna lose ya
I'm gonna give you the slip, a slip of the lip or another
I'm gonna lose ya, I'm gonna trick ya
One way or another I'm gonna lose ya
I'm gonna trick ya trick ya trick ya trick ya
One way or another I'm gonna lose ya
I'm gonna give you the slip

I'll walk down the mall
Stand over by the wall
Where I can see it all
Find out who ya call
Lead you to the supermarket checkout
Some specials and rat food, get lost in the crowd

One way or another I'm gonna getcha, I'll getcha, I'll getcha getcha
getcha getcha
(Where I can see it all, find out who ya call)
One way or another I'm gonna getcha, I'll getcha, I'll getcha getcha
getcha getcha
(Where I can see it all, find out who ya call)
One way or another I'm gonna getcha, I'll getcha, I'll getcha getcha

One of the best songs from one of my favorite French rawk bands ever!

Les Thugs - I Love You So

There's a long time, I remember,
I said goodbye and don't cry
Like a child above a drop,
I had To go far away from you.

I love you so

We are so lucky, you and me,
This world is getting so crazy,
When everything around us,
Is only wars and blood and tears.

I love you so

And when I am
so far from you
and when you smile is just a dream,
I have this question in my head:
How to walk without you?

I love you so

Leonard Cohen - I'm Your Man

If you want a lover
I’ll do anything you ask me to
And if you want another kind of love
I’ll wear a mask for you
If you want a partner
Take my hand
Or if you want to strike me down in anger
Here I stand
I’m your man

If you want a boxer
I will step into the ring for you
And if you want a doctor
I’ll examine every inch of you
If you want a driver
Climb inside
Or if you want to take me for a ride
You know you can
I’m your man

Ah, the moon’s too bright
The chain’s too tight
The beast won’t go to sleep
I’ve been running through these promises to you
That I made and I could not keep
Ah but a man never got a woman back
Not by begging on his knees
Or I’d crawl to you baby
And I’d fall at your feet
And I’d howl at your beauty
Like a dog in heat
And I’d claw at your heart
And I’d tear at your sheet
I’d say please, please
I’m your man

And if you’ve got to sleep
A moment on the road
I will steer for you
And if you want to work the street alone
I’ll disappear for you
If you want a father for your child
Or only want to walk with me a while
Across the sand
I’m your man

If you want a lover
I’ll do anything you ask me to
And if you want another kind of love
I’ll wear a mask for you

"Walk with me.
Open your sensitive mouth and talk to me.
Hold out your delicate hands and feel me,
Couldn't make any plans to conceal me.

Open your sensitive mouth,
Hold out your delicate hands,
With such a sensitive mouth,
I'm easy to see through.

When I come up, when I rush... I rush for you.

Cry for you,
Seen the tears roll down from my eyes for you.
Heard my truth distorting to lies for you,
Watched my love becoming a prize for you.

Seen the tears in my eyes,
Heard my truth turn to lies.
Seen the tears in my eyes,
I'm not proud of what I do.

When I come up, when I rush... I rush for you.

I come up to meet you
up there somewhere,
When I rush to greet you
my soul is bared.

Gave more for you,
dropped my crutches
And crawled on the floor for you.
Went looking behind every door for you,
And because of the things that I saw for you.

I spiritually grew.
When I come up, when I rush... I rush for you......"

Finished my day early today. Lots of work was done in approximately 2 hours. That's a record. Thanks to my fellow co-workers for setting it up. Heh. Probably they want to get rid of me early. Mebbe. :D On my way to work, an ex called me to see if we could get together. Thanks, but no thanks.

Met the hottie for her shopping and dinner needs. Watched "Amores Perros" with her. She sure got a reaction of it. I didn't want to spoil the film for her, so I didn't say anything. Anyway, she is on her way home as I write this.

Baby steps. Take it easy. Sometimes I get frustrated because of my impatience, but no matter. Give her time and space or you'll blow it mate. Right now I'm cranking The Smiths "Please please please let me get what I want". Lord knows this would be the first time.

Saturday was busy.

First, a meeting at the station for a seminar supposedly dealing with writing, turned out to be a seminary dealing on our news department's philosophy. WTF? I mean, thank God I was getting paid for that, but I almost fell asleep in front of the person who gave us her observations. Heh.

Stayed to do some prepwork for the show and tunes selection was done. Spent a couple of hours trying to install some proggie until I finally figured it out and got the thing done just in time. The Hottie was not feeling well and was about to stay home for the evening until some serious cajoling and negotiations. Called a few people and found out that some old friends were gonna watch it at their home, asked if it was ok to drop by and they approved.

The show went pretty well and we had a blast. The Hottie arrived and boy she looked sizzling. Damn! She likes my radio voice. YAY!

We watched the fight and it was fun.The Hottie gets really excited during boxing fights and she's a riot. Afterwards, we hit El Cojo and she met the rest of the cast of my little soap opera world. We had drinkydrinks and she sang a couple of tunes. She had fun and I'm sure she made her impression amongst my buddies.

Afterwards, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... well let's just say friends don't let friends drive drunk. Teehee!

Anyway, here we are top of the morning having breakfast (bacalaitos and grape juice) and a laugh.

Well spent most of the day talking with The Hottie, being supportive and exchanging jokes and pleasantries. She's still funny and wicked, even when she's a bit down. I'm just trying to do my part to lighten the load she has. She's one of the bright spots in my life and aside for my feelings for her, I'd like to make sure she's alright.
