Vibrate lyrics

My phone's on vibrate for you
Electroclash is karioke too
I try to dance Britney Spears
I guess I'm getting on in years

My phone's on vibrate for you
God knows what all these new drugs do
I guess to have no more fears
But still I always end up in tears

My phone's on vibrate for you
But still I never ever feel from you
Pinocchio's now a boy
Who wants to turn back into a toy

So call me
Call me in the morning
Call me in the night
So call me
Call me anytime you like

My phone's on vibrate for you
For you

Freedom Is Slavery. George Orwell said it so well. I wonder if Dubya wrote the note while he was busy painting his coloring books.

Spent Father's Day watching "Garfield" with Dad. It felt good taking the old man down for some sodas, popcorn and a movie. He didn't like the theatre, but hey it's Sunday, Father's Day and full of kids. He laughed at the tons of food people buy to watch a movie, though. Well, it was nice to hang out with him. Bought him a cake and we had dinner afterwards. He's getting way too old. I love him so much, and I know I'll miss him when it's his turn to go.

One of my friends had a death in the family. It was coming, still... anyway, spent last night hanging out with Vero and the Pozzers trading insults and jokes. I bought a brand spanking new hard drive to my laptop and testing this cable provider, but already the modem's having problems. I think I'm gonna keep my DSL for now, but it this is the way it's gonna work with a cable modem, I'd rather stay with DSL. Time will tell.

Bought a wireless router, but haven't tested it yet. Having second thoughts about it so I might return it and buy an X-box or a playstation or something.

Tomorrow is gonna be a long, winding and tedious day. Shit. *sighs*

Tonya wrote me yesterday. Wrote her a note today. I hope she's doing well.

It's fucking hot, so I think I'm gonna take a well deserved nap.

In an unrelated subject. Last night I dreamt I was back in the South. I went to this house that it was a meeting place for all sorts of kinky types. S&M, wife swapping, swingers, of all sexual orientations were there. Cops made the rounds outside to make sure nothing unusual happened outside the house. I had no idea how did I find myself there, but it was interesting to see what was going on inside. Somehow this girl was coming on strong to me. Problem was that she came with her boyfriend and her boyfriend was busy doing someone else. In the dream, I was horny as hell but I didn't do anything. She was all over me and it was really hard to resist her charms. I'm still recovering from it as I speak. All the flesh and all it wants.....

More testing and tweaking. You know the drill. Actually you should be able to listen to the stream for here as well and in the mp3 format instead of windows media. So if your media player plays mp3 streams, you're in luck. Track listing here.

Long weekend and there's this sadness around. The thing I love about my job is that it keeps me busy. Once I'm off and with nothing important to do, then sometimes melancholy takes over. Normally I just wave it off, but today it hits kinda hard, but I deal with it. I just wished today was not as boring as lonely as it is.....

The beauty of hanging out and working with my brethren at the radio show is that sometimes we connect in a nearly psychic level. It's kinda scary. I was eating lunch and Eze and I were talking of a project we want to undertake, but the general impression is that it's time we get paid. I mean, all of us are working in one capacity or another, but the overall sentiment, at least with the two of us is that we need to get paid. Get some serious money done. We figured out a way but that way also involves investing some money in some hardware in order to record what we need to do. Argh!

In other departments, I guess I'm fed up with all the song and dance and pussyfooting around. I mean, I'm tired of people approaching me and then wasting my time. After some deep thinking, I realized I don't have much to offer someone else in the provider and financial security departments. I mean, I'm barely starting on this new job. So whoever wants to stick with me, she really loves me or something. I know I can offer love, loyalty, sex and companionship to the right gal, but more than that, I cannot offer. So I guess I'll prepare for some solitude. No matter. Better alone and happy than trapped in a bad relationship.

Anyway, a lot of work's done. Still on my learning phase and that's good. My supervisor's leaving on Thursday, so we should be getting a new department head soon. Oh well. I need to get a job on the weekends for some spending money. Oh well. Gotta sort things out. It's better that I'm on my own then.

Lots of weird dreams of late. At least they are interesting.

Bye Ronnie. Thank you for single-handedly saving us from them commie bastards.....he piloted that X-wing straight down the Death Star and blew that ugly thing from the sky and we got rid of the evil empire.......

NOT!

Actually if people actually bothered to research the facts, maybe they've found out about Mikhail Gorbachev and his perestroika movement. But hell, Reagan did it. Sure he did. Of course.

First week on the job. Yes, I still like it very much. Very freaking busy and it's a good feeling. Keeping myself useful and occupied does wonders for me. I just want to work hard to keep this one for a long while. In other news, watched Gustavo Cerati's electronic side project Roken on Thursday thanks to Angelito. It was really cool. We had a blast. Saw some unusual situations on the way in, but that's Puerto Rico for you. I had sort of a distressing situation when I came home, but sorted it right away. I can't allow myself to be put down by other people's situations. Fuck that! Anyway, have a great weekend.

Yesterday was my first day on the job and despite the first half of it being nice and quiet and I had more than enough time to tweak my work PC to my liking. Second half was brutal with the news pouring in and a crucial piece of software needed to do my job gone AWOL through no fault of my own. Spent two hours of overtime sorting it out but it was worth it. Today things went smoothly. Software properly installed and took care of business. At home I can't sleep at night because of the heat, but thank God I work at noon. Otherwise, I would be worse off.
