Sleepless again. Restless. Bored and sick of it all. Same as it ever was, isn't it?

i'm a firm believer in karma, retribution, justice, whatever. i believe in that fate takes care of people who fucks over others. so when i quit my last job, through no fault of my own, i just waited because the tables would turn. the asshole responsible for my leaving there is out of a job, since management in charge are total assholes and couldn't retain employees at all. well, the company running that call center had enough of all that bullshit and are closing it down for good. i'm sorry for the good ones left, but i'm glad that bitch is out of a job. so much for kissing ass, eh?

Yesterday was ok despite we did an improv show, but it all went smoothly. Later we had some midnight munchies and today it's pretty much slow. It happens.

Very very long day yesterday. Morning picked the songs for the evening's set at Don Pablo. Check out my other blog for the set list. Then headed off the unemployment office for an appointment and checked out job opportunities. Dismal but a few leads. Then got home to finally record and master my set on a nice little shiny CD so I wouldn't carry ze laptop. I had plenty of time to do it given that it was almost 3 in the afternoon and then I could watch Kill Bill 2 with Vero and then hit Don Pablo for the dj gig, right?

But of course there's always Murphy poking around and causing chaos and general mayhem. After several attempts to get the mix right (partly my fault and partly ze laptop's snafus), I gave up on the idea, and transferred the songs and the tools needed to mix it down properly to a friend's desktop computer that seems to have taken permanent residence here. I told my friend again and again to come pick it up, but he has a brand new snazzy top of the line box at his house, so he basically wants me to keep this one for the time being. Songs and programs transferred it's almost time for our showing of Kill Bill when Vero arrives.

I take a quick shower and let the whole thing running and ask my sis to stop the recording while Vero and me watch Kill Bill Vol. 2. Ok, it was kind of a dissappointment for me because we were all used to the pace of the first. But Vol. 1 has better pace and a better soundtrack, but it was really fun to watch with Vero.

I arrived home to see if I could somehow get the wave file and burn it but my sis stopped the recording a little afterwards and I had 1.5 gigs of data to edit, cut and burn into a CD. No way. Got ze laptop (thank 'bob' i left the original data there) and drove to Don Pablo. Vero left early because she has school today so I did my set and partied with the guys until almost 5 am. Lots of fun. It was a real pleasure to enjoy the guys company playing the music we fucking love. Anyway, Vero gets a copy of the mix because she rawks. I came home kinda sleepless so I just edited the huge file and burned a test cd and it rawks. So there. All in all, a very long day and I haven't gone to bed yet.

Oh and some people want to let go of grudges but somehow still manage to keep at them without letting go. This person should find better uses for her time, but hey, it figures. Fucking pathetic. Then they ask themselves how I got the fuck outta that one.

In which I've been too busy doing interviews, doing the radio show, dealing with the loss of one of my instruments, and trying to see if the logistics of a possible relationship are feasable. Sorry I haven't updated this in a while. Details later.

There are things I'd like to share but some things are better left by themselves and give them time, space and room to develop and roam. I'm kinda glad about that.

Gotta run and get the tax return first thing tomorrow morning and also gotta hook up a printer. Last minute drama before the deadline.

In an unrelated subject, there's a girl out there who got me to tell her to fuck off. I understand the way you are, but you also gotta consider people's feelings too. Then you wonder why so few bother to stick around you. So while I'm at it, fuck off. Thank you.

Ice cream and fast food with Vero was fun. I need to run some intel she needs and hopefully I'll find out. Meeting her tomorrow to check out amps.

What the fuck am I doing up at this time? Well, I didn't sleep at all. Sorted out some computer trouble at Alberto's, babysat his kids while figuring what was wrong, got home quick shower and was a roadie for da pozzers show last night and it fucking rocked. The bands played fast loud and unfortunately some stupid louts got the cops to shut down the show while Cojoba was playing. Fuckers! We hit some place afterwards for conversation and munchies and them Pozzers are so fucking funny. Came home to sort some computer snafu with the portable hd and well here we are. Woopty fucking do! Watch out for el yistro amarillo while you're busy with your Easter egg hunt! Happy Easter!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Friday. Several hours and two ham sandwiches later and it's a bore. Last night at Lazer was fun, but today is so slow and nothing happens. Well, at least Vero, Mujer Satanica and me had fun, danced and made fun of all them black cad vampire matrix wannabes. LOL.

Had this really annoying dream this morning. My manager and my ex showing up at my doorstep. She wanted me to play a gig with her at the Carolina County Fair. The problem with this dream is that my ex didn't want me to speak to her at all and I was like "well I do want to speak with you to settle some stuff. Otherwise why bother doing a gig with you?" In reality my ex didn't play any instrument or sang, but she had a lovely voice and despite my encouragement for her to sing, she never did. Too shy. Anyway, that was the lovely way I woke up today. My mind is a really fucked up place.

Seems that the Feds wouldn't allow her to come to the island so basically he told the Feds, the State Dept and someone in the White House to go fuck themselves. I chuckle, wake up, somehow managing to knock the phone off it's base and while getting it back some words of wisdom from Mujer Satanica appear: "My Mind Is A Wonderful Place To Live In". I just had to write this in. Make of it what you will.
