Well I haven't written anything in the past few days due to:
1. Memorial Day Weekend
2. Parties on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Excellent all. Had a blast. Didn't overindulge. Danced my ass off.
3. Got sick on Tuesday
4. Now I'm recovering from a migraine (the fun does not stop)
Anyway, a couple of things:
1. See how someone's desperate attempt to get someone back backfires. Badly. That's why I don't do that. Ever.
2. Lots to do and little time to do it and I need a fucking job. A permanent one.
3. So many things on my mind and then things creep up on me. I'm over them but they come back in unexpected ways, mainly in my dreams. The subconscious is one tricky motherfucker.
4. Whoever's left at my side, I love you. The rest I don't really need. You're all that matters.

The guys who run it have this farm in the middle of nowhere but it can be a killer spot to party or just to get away from it all. They also have a satellite dsl modem wickedly fast. We started to work on their setup and their computers. Really cool and relaxed way to spend an evening and way into the next day. Came home at 4 am then chatted with my friend Nina until 6 am. You rock so much liebchen. at 10 am got a call and I have a temp job at a local government office. Let's see what happens but I'm so eager to get the fuck out of here it's not even funny.
We might audition a female singer and keyboard player for antartica.

Started the weekend properly at the DJ Ravin's set at the Marriott. Fucking hell. Yes it was full of yuppies but me and my friend Mariana had a blast dancing, dining and drinking along with Iohann, Mika, Angelito and Daphne. It was good to see Lili after all these years. She's gorgeous and has a mullet. Woooooo. Jose was fun to see too. I also saw some 'celebrities' like Vivanativa's singer and El Manjar's new singer. Yeah dancing with the jet set. they have acquired Mute, one of Europe?s leading independent record
companies, with an artist roster that includes Depeche Mode, Fad Gadget,
Moby, Erasure, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and many more indie acts. With
the acquisition EMI is extending an existing licensing relationship that
Mute has had with EMI?s Virgin Records for over 15 years. Founded in
London in 1978 by Daniel Miller, Mute has consistently been at the
forefront of artist development. Miller, executive chairman of Mute, will
continue to be responsible for all of the company?s global activities. EMI
will pay 23 million UK pounds for Mute, plus up to 19 million UK pounds
of potential performance-related payments, over a period of four years.
The take-over did not really come as a surprise, in previous interviews
Miller already argumented that joining up with a major would be one of
the most logical decisions for the near future.

Viernes por la noche. Llego con Chocky al lugar indicado tempranisimo. Despues de que Pitu me amenaza y me hostiga, suelto los chavos de la entrada. Chocky hace lo mismo y mientras que la banda monta, nos tiramos la mision a monchar en el McDonald's mas cercano.
Llegamos y ya estaban los sospechosos usuales ademas de la banda empezando. Mhx se tiro la puercada electronica, idm, glitch. Como siempre excelente. Mista D@ve llega y despues de un efusivo saludo nos tiramos a beber y a joder. Entre tanto la bartender (fresca de cuerpo solamente. lo demas...airhead pero pues.......) se tira el pronunciamento del 2002: "Esta musica es medio rara no?". "You got that right sister"- pense mientras que me bajaba la Mike's Hard Lemonade. Mista D@ve estaba con su Cuba Libre chillin y salimos al balconcito a tirarnos los comentarios con Frau Nora, Ariel, Pitu, Puntito Siniestro, Ol Skool, Kiwaldo y el resto del elenco, mientras admirabamos la vida serena en las calles de Guaynabo City. No sospechabamos que pronto sabriamos porque.
Despues de la descarga de Mhx en el cual Ol Skool y yo estabamos jugando a "Name That Tune", el poder del kowbell, la posibilidad de hacer el remix de ghetto tech para darle clases de jaqueo y sandungueo a los raperos locales y la inmortalidad de los angeles entre otras cosas, nos dirigimos adentro para apreciar a Oruga en directo.
Sasha la Caimana abrio las festividades y un caballero se tiro un poemita y luego Oruga empezo con la musica fresca con unos videitos proyectados por el techo que incluian a Luis Bunyuel y a Dali en "Un Chien Andalou" (con el ojo cortao yummy), The Great Dictator de Chaplin entre otros manjares audiovisuales. Que escuche? Jazz ligero, post rock. trip hop y shoegazing. Fue durante la cancion de ese estilo es que veo a varios guardias fuertemente armados entrando al local pidiendole a la banda que pare. Fuck si veo a sobre 10 macharranes fuertemente armados pues que se puede hacer no?
Anyway los guardias anuncian que quieren chequear los permisos del lugar, pero tambien proceden a registrar a gente al azar. Mista D@ve sufrio uno de esos registros. Mano y el hombre es so fresh and so clean. No fucking lie. Shit. Gente del Guaynabo City Police, Rentas Internas y hasta agentes de el fucking INS (SI AMIGUITOS. INMIGRACION. LA MIGRA. EL INMIGRATION AND NATURALIZATION SERVICE OF THE DEPT OF JUSTICE OF THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENTS MY FRIEND) estaban ahi. Los guardias chequearon el lugar y el lugar lamentablemente no tenian los permisos al dia. Asi que cerraron el local, confiscaron la bebida y tu y yo y el corillo pa'fuera.
Chocky declaro el party uno de old school porque hacian por lo menos una decada que no veiamos a las autoridades bustear un party de la escena. Digo, mala de ellos del local porque el local estaba fresco y se da para hacer unos tripeos buenos, pero pues pasar ese malrato esta de mas. Gracias a 'BoB' que a las autoridades no se les ocurrio tirarse las tacticas de stormtroopers y no rajaron cabezas. Armamento tenian. I guess we were lucky. This time. Los guardias hablando de rolas y extasy. Fuckers didn't have a clue sobre la actividad.

The radio session went well. 23:09 of non-stop fun. Lots of phonecalls of people asking what the fuck was going on and liking it. Beautiful beautiful. Got Oruga's demo and will see them tonight hopefully. I am psyched. Lots of things that can be done.
Ok the secret project is out. Check it out. Tonight's live broadcast at X-100 FM was a blast. We had fun and then went to check out Oruga. A local band with a huge buzz. Didn't arrive in time to catch their set tonight, but will see them tomorrow. Bought their demo CD. Review soon. I'm a very happy camper now. Doctor's appointment tomorrow.
Carlos Alfalfa is working on a secret project and all I can say for now is that it fucking rocks your lame ass. He's the shiznit. Hopefully it will be available soon.

Even though we didn't do much about that....BUT we had pizza, some of us finished taking Channel 4 UK's Gay-o-meter (me 33%), talk about surgeries and medical procedures (insert my rant about "it's cost effective to die rather than go to a hospital these days" here) among other things.
T minus 10 days till my birthday. In ten days I'm gonna be in the tail end of my demographic. Heh. That weekend has a lot of cool shows so there.

Well the show went well despite some glitches. It was a shame that many people missed it. Their loss. The radio show was such a fucking blast. I couldn't help laughing. Sorry. Actually, fuck it I need laughter these days.
Watched Spider Man today. It's ok. Summer flick. Marvel's on a roll since the X-men adaptation. I heard Darron Aronofsky and Frank Miller are teaming up for Batman: Year One. I'll look forward to that, along with Attack Of The Clones and The Two Towers.

It was a good day today and I'm grateful. I'm glad. I laughed a lot. Eze, Iohann and Angelito always do that for me. Thank you guys. My sis got a job offer. Really good. I'm glad for her. Watched Jeepers Creepers. Good story overall *but*........ just watch it if you haven't already. Yeah another teen horror flick but hey Coppola produced it so either 1) He saw a good thing when he heard the pitch or 2) He needs some quick cash. Too bad he didn't include the original version of Peepshow. Siouxsie's so much better.
Today is International Worker's Day. Normally I wouldn't mind celebrating it but here the syndicates basically bend over, took it up the ass and ended up selling themselves out. They got the phone company in private hands and it's service gets worse and worse. Now they didn't mind the government selling the water utility too. Fuck them up their stupid asses.
