Christ, has all the elements of summer action flick written on it, and Mastodon is doing the soundtrack. Unfortunately, this is not the Jonah Hex I knew and loved from the comic books. Although it has that Joe Landsdale feel.

A Jonah Hex film can be made. Something mean and cruel, like The Unforgiven, The Proposition or with the spirit of some of the vintage Leone westerns. Oh well.
