The weekend was uneventful. Not much to do. Got Mandrake Linux 10 RC1 installed in the laptop and it's working fine with both kernels (2.4.25 and 2.4.26) so it's doing better than the latest version of Knoppix. I'm seeing how the upgrade thing works but I'm sure I can sort it out until the newest Knoppix is out. 3.4 C'T's kernel 2.6 doesn't go well with my laptop. 3.3 2/15 is working fine but Mandrake Linux 10 RC 1 is working fine with both kernels and Gnome, unlike the latest versions of Knoppix. I still like Knoppix/Debian because of the apt upgrade system, which works beautifullly.
