A sort of FArewell

Actually I should change it to A most definite FArewell. Anyway, if you really must know, I left Frecuencias Alternas for good and took my articles with me.

Sorry you won't get dirt from me about this. They produce an awesome radio show and blog and I honestly wish them the best and much success in their career. I just don't want to tag along for the ride and my work there is done. They have a whole lotta talent at their disposal so I am confident you'll have enough FA to last a lifetime.

So what's in store for good ole me? There are several things that I need to do and some of them include this blog and my domain. I am still working out the details but in the wise words of Robert Fripp: I am now an independent mobile unit. And in the kind words of bluesman Andre Williams: agile, mobile and hostile!

Yeah I'm also learning to blog from my mobile's email, so this is also a test. Watch this space for details. Over and out.

To my beautiful LS....

This song reminds me of you.... First, is an acoustic version done live at The Current radio show. The lyfics follow and finally there's the studio version that killed me. If you like The Flaming Lips, CSNY or similar stuff, enjoy!

Cloud Cult - Pretty Voice

A scene begins
With our next melody
Sung by a bashful bird
Humming a violet sky
There are no words
But there is understanding
It's been so long
Since I've heard that pretty voice

Raise up our lights
And enter hero girl
She makes me calm
Yeah she makes me calm
When she hears a song
And she starts singing
It's been so long
Since I've heard that pretty voice

Strike up the band
Here comes the storyline
Of the usual struggle
Between fear and love
This is the lifelong song
We're all singing
It's been so long
Since I've heard that pretty voice

Now it begins
I miss your hollering
But you're so sure
Such a bashful bird
Here's a song
But no one's singing
It's been so long
Since I've heard your pretty voice

Yeah!

En peligro la radio por Internet

Internet radio may be driven out of business within weeks by a Copyright Royalty Board decision that gives record companies a royalty rate that exceeds 100% of most webcasters' total revenues...
