An eventful weekend with visits from friends and relatives and calls from friends and relatives. Mum held court on my room, for a change. Surgeons found everything ok. Treatment should proceed as planned.
Apple sauce, half a turkey sandwich, milk, ambien and morphine. Tuck me in and send me to Dreamland.
Right now thee doctors gave me a combination of ambien and morphine. They do want me to pass out for sure.

Hospitals are prime examples of sadism even when u got nice nurses helping you to heal. U fucked up or had an accident, this is what u get. Bed bound patients get the worst of it There's nothing worse than depending on someone else for even assisting you with basic bodily functions. And the room's intercom does not work. Of course, there are several patients who have it worse than me.

More cheeerful news: MRI scan found out ostheomelitis in 4th and 5th fingers, septic arthritis and two infected tendons. Orthopedic surgeon should visit. Following antibiotics for 42 days. Very fooked prognosis.
The nurse in charge of my healing had a family emergency. The other nurse who can actually help me is off today. The main guy who's directing them can't be reached or they're trying to reach him. My foot needs to be healed today. Is this is God showing his sense of humor, he's killing me. Literally.
Bonus: dreamt about a reality show where people lose their memory, try to gain it back and usually have something to tell to the other contestant. Better write it down to see where it leads.
